In 1852, a quarryman from Aurignac discovered by chance the entrance to a prehistoric shelter containing the bones of large mammals that are now extinct. The Aurignacian Museum exhibits the treasures thus found, witnesses of the life of Homo sapiens who lived in Europe 35 000 years ago! Get ready for a moving encounter with a long forgotten history. Ce 17 avril, il y avait le campement avec des ateliers, c'était très bien organisé, mes petits enfants 8 et 10 ans et moi-même, nous nous sommes régalés, le sentier vers l'abri est très agréable, c'est une belle balade. Nous avons eu aussi droit à un concert en fin d'après midi( une très très belle découverte apprécié par petits et grands et tout ceci totalement gratuit, un grand merci aux organisateurs, musicien et merci surtout pour le partage des connaissances fait avec plaisir et beaucoup d'humilité.
