ÉCLUSE ET PONT-CANAL DE TICAILLE
A single-chamber lock, designed on the model of the Vauban aqueducts and adapted to avoid silting up of the canal by the Amadou
The Ayguesvives or Ticaille lock is a single-chamber lock ascending in the west-east direction, at 159 m altitude. Between the Sanglier lock and the Montgiscard lock, it is next to the bridge-canal of the same name which spans the small stream "Ru Amadou". This bridge-canal was designed on the model of the aqueducts of Vauban and adapted to avoid the silting of the canal by the Amadou, tributary of the Hers-Mort. The aqueduct and the tow bridge are listed as historical monuments.
