Museum housing documents, and parts of planes crashed in Bagnères-de-Luchon during the Second World War
Flight mechanic for tests at Latécoère, Léon Elissalde, known as Léon du Blayais, was head of the FFI battalion. Reserve Captain of the Air Force, member of the Royal Air Force, he founded in 1955 the Aéro-Club de Luchon and the Association of Pyrenean Mountain Pilots. This museum, inaugurated in 1991, just before his death, houses documents and parts from planes that crashed in the region during the Second World War and a flight simulator.
