Hydroelectric power station fed by the Lac d'Oô dam, considered to be one of the best places in the world to hike and discover

The EDF space offers a playful and educational discovery of this formidable natural energy that is hydroelectricity. Built in 1921, the power station supplies a town of about 30,000 inhabitants. The highlight of the visit is the engine room, where you can get a closer look at how the installations work. Temporary exhibitions (photos and paintings) complete the cultural offer. Fed by the dam of the lake of Oô, it is a great place for hiking.

Super visite. Une première partie avec toutes les explications, très intéressantes, avec une super guide qui a fourni des explications claires et à la portée de tous. Une super maquette permet de représenter le fonctionnement du barrage et de la centrale.
