MARCHÉ DE LUCHON
During the summer season, from April1st to October 31st, the market of Luchon is held every day on the Gabriel-Rouy square. When the cold weather comes back, it is twice a week, on Wednesday and Saturday. The open-air market spreads out around the superb hall built at the beginning of the 20th century in the Art Nouveau style. You will find all the local specialties: salted meats, lamb from the Pyrenees, blueberry pie, trout raised in Oô or Luchon (freshly caught, in gravlax, dried, in terrine or in soup), cheeses from the surrounding valleys, fruits and vegetables.
