On the menu, specialities from the bunch: grilled vegetable antipasti, small blue cuttlefish, Caesar salad, cod back à la plancha, scallop risotto with scallops, ravioli with white truffle from Alba, beef carpaccio... Patrons guest of this restaurant, we were shocked by our visit of yesterday evening.
With my wife we ordered 2 dishes: antipasti and spaghetti prawns, having started eating my wife recall me that the aubergines antipasti are hard and inedible but nothing is said, my side I start with prawns and I detect an odd smell sauce with shot from the spaghetti.
I hesitate long because I am wide, but I end up calling the waiter informing for some, the latter takes my plate without a word then returned a few moment later with my plate and tells me that it is the smell of vodka…
I am very surprised by his explanation and indicates to him that I will not eat this dish.
On this, the owner comes to our table and it starts to talk to me on a bad tone and high voice by me explaining that I'm wrong and that the cuisine is impeccable, I want to talk to him calmly but it is absolutely impossible to have the last word. Then it tells me hurry choose another dish before the kitchen closes, I am shocked by her reaction and I advise him that for me it is away.
However we are sport and my wife orders a dessert. .très good.
We go out cash desk to pay and honestly I are two things to know an explanation more soothed and an not-invoicing of spaghetti, but the owner is part and spaghetti are charged us!! I am furious in front of such a behaviour of the management and include I understand why the staff at this restaurant is so cold and turns sour.
In conclusion, to err is human and criticism is part of the restoration except in this restaurant.
