Discovery of a research center for awareness and education in Bessières.

The refuge is a research center now open to the public with the dual objective of awareness and education. On a 25 ha area of preserved nature evolve terrestrial and aquatic tortoises. The basins and enclosures are arranged in the respect of the natural environment of the boarders, that is to say more than one thousand two hundred tortoises, because of the numerous abandonments. Discover their way of life, from the glowing Nelsoni to the amazing alligator turtle. A nice family outing or more, if you want to become a volunteer.

Cela faisait longtemps que je voulais y aller, c'est fait aujourd'hui. Vraiment pas déçue. La visite guidée, à ne pas manquer pour apprendre les différents modes de vie, les caractéristiques et poser des questions. Et ensuite, possibilité de refaire la visite seuls, à notre rythme, d'admirer les tortues, de les voir évoluer dans leur milieu. Vraiment une chouette visite. Je recommande.

Lieu très agréable pour les enfants pleins de jeux . Une aire pour manger a l'ombre un snack avec des prix resonnable.un très bon accueil des visites guidées avec des explications sur les tortues et leur sauvegarde. Très propre je recommande on a passé une bonne journée ????
