An association that saves and restores aircraft and has a beautiful collection, one of the largest in France.

Does aviation make you dream? For 40 years, Ailes Anciennes has been saving historic aircraft. On Saturdays, a volunteer will introduce you to some mythical aircraft: Breguet 941, Mirage IVP, MiG-21 "Fishbed"... or helicopters such as Eurocopter Écureuil or the atypical "flying banana", Piasecki H21! In 2023, the Falcon, the first twin-engine business jet developed by Dassault in 1963, will join the collection. Several times a year, cockpit days are organized to allow visitors to climb aboard these legendary aircraft.

Espectacular museo si te gustan los aviones clásicos.
Aunque hay mucho material de desguace, necesario para las reparaciones, está lleno de encanto

Un voyage dans le temps...une équipe souriante et disponible. A refaire.

Belles rénovations d'avions de l'histoire de l'aviation.

A large and eclectic mix of decommissioned aircraft in varying states of completeness. I understand there is some ongoing restoration as there is a workshop on site. I mentioned to the lovely guy on the front desk about what a shame it is that these frankly unique aircraft don't have a better home, considering Aeroscopia (which is disappointing in comparison). Only €6 if you've already gone to the other museum, well worth a stop and wander.

Une superbe collection d'avions présentés par des passionnés... et de temps en temps, la possibilité de rentrer dans les cockpits. Un superbe musée à ciel ouvert à faire absolument.
