Mr and Mrs Hecquet are passionate about medieval history and absolutely wanted to live in a residence built before 1600. At the bottom of Tournon, they found their happiness 20 years ago and share it with their short-stay guests. In lodge or in guest room, during your stay, you are, a chatelain filled: the big stones of the building of the 14th century are omnipresent in the majority of the rooms and the old beams add much character to the rooms. The common room where the table d'hôte is located is really impressive with its massive fireplace that runs in winter. In summer, the meals are taken under the arches of the inner courtyard. Everything is made with organic products from Mr and Mrs Hecquet's farmhouse prepared with love. Petit Futé particularly likes the room of Tour Carrée. Admittedly a little more expensive, it offers a splendid view over the valley and the roofs of the castle. Moreover it has a private parlor. Antique furniture and charming welcome end up convincing us to recommend you warmly this address which is located in the heart of a property of 56 ha nature. Note that the castle can be privatized (with the lovely swimming pool with submerged beach in summer) and can accommodate all the year up to 30 people (12 rooms and 9 bathrooms). The large dining room can accomodate up to 80 people. It is an idyllic and prestigious setting for weddings or big patries.
