The Comité Interprofessionnel des Vins du Sud-Ouest (South-West Wine Trade Committee) defends a wine industry spread over more than six thousand vineyards and twelve departments. Housed within the INRA, it oversees the grape varieties, appellations and wine-growing areas of the Greater South-West with twenty-nine AOPs and thirteen IGPs, from Tursan to Côtes-de-Millau, including Saint-Sardos, Irouleguy and Madiran. The committee supports research, monitors quality and competition and organises public information missions. It has also created a new concept called Sud-Ouest de cœur, in order to promote the region's wines as part of the art of living of an entire territory.

Owner's Message
The négrette, fer servadou, duras, tannat and malbec grape varieties preserve the identity and personality of the red and rosé wines of the South-West, while the colombard, mauzac, manseng, courbu, baroque and len de l'el grape varieties contribute to discovering the charm of the dry and sweet white wines of the region.
