PAUL BOYÉ TECHNOLOGIES
Originally from the Pyrenees, the Boyé family has chosen, as its emblem, an isard: a robust animal; a tightrope walker adapted to the mountain environment and extreme conditions, which embodies the values and assets of this dynasty which became known in 1914. The tailor's workshop of Pierre Boyé (the founder of the company) was then mobilized to make the blue condoms (on top) for the soldiers. Four generations later, Paul Boyé Technologies is one of Europe's leading manufacturers of uniforms, combat clothing and safety equipment. The company, based in Labarthe-sur-Lèze, supplies the French Ministries of Defence, Interior and Health.
Paul Boyé Technologies, which has its own Research and Development department, has developed innovative technologies and production systems over the years. The company, which has strong roots in Occitania (its headquarters are in Labarthe-sur-Lèze; a production plant is located in Bédarieux in the Hérault; and Lavelanet in Ariège houses its textile design centre) manufactures intervention and protection clothing against biological, chemical and radiological toxic substances, nuclear effects, fire, bullets, mines and bad weather. Technical clothing designed for extreme conditions: riots, terrorism, banditry, technological risks or natural disasters.
