DOMAINE COURÈGE-LONGUE
David Sazi is at the head of Domaine de Courège-Longue and his vines have been working in organic farming since 2012. The Buzet appellation that marks the parcels is here that of fine and distinguished wines. This independent winegrower, member with ten other independent winegrowers of the Buzet d'Auteurs association, which brings together producers of wines with the Buzet controlled appellation, leads his vineyard on 5 ha on the slopes of Buzet overlooking the Garonne with three variations of terroir. The first is the Family Reserve, fruity and semi-guarded; the second, located on the south-facing slope, the Vieille Vigne (Vitatge vièlh), a rubéfié gravel; and finally the Arrougeys, rarer, from a soil rich in iron and clay. The last Lougrantruc vintage bears its name well: in rosé or red, this wine comes from 30-year-old vines and it is a small, more confidential vintage that deserves to be discovered. The harvest is done by hand, the grapes are put in concrete vats in the Burgundy style. By visiting the estate, you will be able to see these old hydraulic presses (with water!) whose pressing quality is still unequalled and then move on to a tasting!
