SAINT-SATURNIN CHURCH OF MERVILLE
Church inaugurated in 1830, presenting the particularities of a neoclassical style in Merville
As you travel through the villages of Haute-Garonne, you will notice that they often have churches built with the red brick so characteristic of the region. The church in Merville is no exception, but inaugurated in 1830, it has the particularities of a neoclassical bias: a triangular pediment, trompe-l'oeil murals signed by the Pedoya brothers and a unique flat ceiling design, which takes up the motifs usually typical of the Renaissance.
