This charming inn can be reached by road as well as by canal. The place is splendid! In summer, enjoy the pleasant terrace, in winter, the fireplace. The food is good. Delicious even! A traditional cuisine of the soil with products of great quality. Duck in the form of foie gras or duck breast, grilled on a wood fire, tasty fish dishes also grilled. For dessert, let yourself be tempted by the fondant "choc de l'escale", the iced nougat, the brioche French toast, a beautiful Proust's madeleine!

Cuisine bonne mais simple,
Nous avons pris le menu entre deux....
Les frites étaient très bonnes, c est pour moi le point qui ressort vraiment,
Car il n y a rien d extravagant dans ce que nous avons mangé,
Ce que je déplore grandement, vu qu un menu à 27 euros, on s attend a manger différemment qu à la maison, (salade, tomate) à tous les plats....
Je n ai mis que 3 étoiles sur l ensemble, peut être un peu sévère, mais en tant que professionnel, c est mon ressenti
