ST. JAMES CHURCH
Church of Romanesque style with an octagonal bell tower of the fifteenth century and a neoclassical decor with murals of the nineteenth century
Romanesque in style with an octagonal bell tower from the 15th century, the church of Saint-Jacques was entirely rebuilt in the 16th century. It has gradually been restored to its former glory. Inside, discover a neoclassical decor, with unpublished wall paintings from the 19th century in the chapel of La Salette and Saint-Germier, attributed to Arsène Robert, a painter from Rieum. Don't miss another important church in Muret, the neo-Gothic church of Ox, built in the 19th century.
