Cooking is indeed an art, which no doubt explains why Brigitte Masson, a visual artist by training, is as comfortable behind the stove as in a gallery! In the centre of Fumel, she invites you to her table and it's a nice moment that varies every day: the chef sometimes focuses on regional dishes, but especially on traditional and exotic French cuisine, inspired by her travel memories. Alone in the kitchen and in the dining room, Brigitte has developed this concept which allows her to welcome her clients in the best possible way. Every lunchtime, she concocts a unique menu using fresh, local produce and a very competitive price-quality ratio. Here, all the dishes are home-made, you will find sweet and sour, tagines, a winter squash, full of vegetables and well-flavoured, a chicken with peppers and its grated carrots, coconut milk sauce and curry and on Thursdays, it's fish day! For desserts, from Matcha tea meringues to brown sugar pie, inspiration takes us away. One Friday a month, Brigitte organizes musical evenings and on Sunday, market day, the table is open for breakfast. Atmosphere guaranteed!
