The Poubeau cheese dairy is located, as its name suggests, in the small village of Poubeau just next to Luchon. This farm is run by Jean-Pierre Lavigne who can welcome you before 11am and after 5pm to witness his work and share his know-how. If you wish to attend the milking of the cows, it is best to come around 7pm. You can then visit the maturing cellar. And of course, here you will be able to taste and buy delicious raw milk cheeses exclusively from the farm! The Poubeau cheese dairy supplies many restaurants in the region. Don't miss the opportunity to take home a slice of Pyrenees to spread!
