It has become the emblematic figure of Revel: overlooking the hall of the fourteenth century, the belfry is dated from the nineteenth. Every Saturday (and every day in summer), the tourist office offers a guided tour. This is an opportunity, through its history, to understand the evolution of the bastide. The tour ends with a terrace offering an unforgettable panoramic view of the town, the Lauragais plain and the Montagne Noire above the bustling market. A short visit at a small price that would be a shame to miss.
