If you are interested in the life of our Gallic ancestors, go to the archaeosite! On 9 hectares, the village unfolds: the fortifications, a deep ditch surmounted by a palisade, open onto earth and thatch constructions, both dwellings and craftsmen's workshops. You are on the banks of the Garonne, you can imagine their daily life and the old trades told by the animators: forge, goldsmith, pottery, dyeing, weaving... Many playful animations for the children.

Lieu très agréable, bien ombragé quand il fait chaud ! Par contre, il faut y arriver tôt pour arriver à tout faire. Pensez aussi à prendre un temps à la boutique qui possède de supers produits locaux et artisanaux.

Quelle deception !!! 2 adultes et 3 enfants... 70 €???????????????? Aucun personnage, ni d animaux sur le site... Un endroit qui pourrait etre animé pour des enfants et pour les parents, des activités ludiques, des petits ateliers de 10/15 mn, etc... Les enfants se sont ennuyés. Je n y reviendrai pas !

Recreation of a "typical" Village Gaulois an hour's drive from Toulouse. It's open from 14h00 (check days). The huts have been carefully recreated since the foundation of the project 1993. The team run excellent workshops and present their "metiers". Wood working, pottery, wool.

Très facile d'accès grâce à l'autoroute. Le cadre est très agréable et l'ambiance Gauloise est je trouve bien réussie. Bon il faut dire qu'il faisait beau.
