THE MONUMENT WITH A CIRCULAR ENCLOSURE
Go there and contact
It was built on the site of a pre-opened crossroads at the beginning of the 1st century. The crossroads were then a sacred place. The crossing of the tracks that connected Lugdunum Convenarum to the capitals of the neighbouring cities marked the crossroads of four Roman tracks, coming from Agen, Dax, Toulouse and Spain. Following the deviation of the via romana from Dax, this crossing no longer exists as such. Also, in order not to offend the gods, this monument with a circular enclosure was erected on its site.
