Closed for a long time, this museum, which has been awarded the "Musée de France" label, welcomes you back to a neo-classical style building that is worth a visit. Inaugurated in 1968, it takes you on a journey through the history of the central Pyrenees and leads you to meet the people who have left their mark there. You will discover collections of drawings, photographs, popular arts, fine arts, as well as an admirable collection of porcelain ceramics known as Valentine's.

Endroit quelque peu magique. A une ancienne époque c'était la mairie et j'y avait assisté à un film conférence d'Haroum Tazieff organisé par Mr Anizan..!

On arrive à 17h20 et on découvre que le Musée est censé fermer à 17h15 alors que vous affichez 18h... Alors que la porte est encore ouverte. Mettez à jour vos horaires !
