ÉGLISE D'ESQUERDES
Romanesque church dating from the late century, a panoramic site steeped in history in Guérin.
Dating from the late 12th century, this Romanesque building was an annex of the Templar, then Hospitaller, commandery of Romestaing. The Friends of Esquerdes association is responsible for promoting this panoramic site. Until the Revolution of 1789, Esquerdes was a parish under the name of Saint-Christophe, before becoming an annex of the parish of Guérin, being abandoned and gradually falling into disrepair. In the 1960s, a group of heritage-minded residents decided to give it a new lease of life by founding the association "Les Amis d'Esquerdes". A fine initiative.
