The Cité de l'espace is the most important site in Europe for the popularization of astronomy and space culture among the public. In partnership with the CNES, it offers a new permanent equipment unique in Europe: the Martian Terrain. This 900m2 crater accurately reproduces the environment of the red planet, with its red and ochre colored rocks, its reliefs and its textures. A scientific animator is also present to give a multitude of information on the Martian environment. Replicas of the Perseverance and Zhurong rovers also allow visitors to learn more about the missions and specificities of the rovers currently roaming Mars in search of traces of life. An activity not to be missed during a visit to Toulouse. More information on the website of the Cité de l'espace
