REINE MÈRE
Reine Mère is the successful combination of design and ecology. Created a little over ten years ago in Toulouse, this object publishing house has indeed carved itself a fine reputation in the world of responsible decoration. Stéphane Clivier, a graduate of the Ecole supérieure des arts appliqués de Troyes and trained as a cabinetmaker, uses wood from sustainably managed forests in the Jura region. A natural material that he sometimes mixes with Limoges or Lot porcelain, sheep's wool or recycled paper to make hooks, trays, trophies, gloves, shelves, jewellery, cushions... Environmental issues are taken into account from the design stage, to ensure optimal use of raw materials and limit waste and scrap. Reine Mère has thus given birth to a few best-sellers, in her name, with her jewelry tree, or on behalf of other brands, including an ecological chicken coop in kit form for Nature et Découvertes.
