NORIMAT
Norimat is one of the small nuggets born in Toulouse. This start-up, specialized in the manufacture of high-performance materials, is of particular interest to players in the biomedical, luxury and defence sectors. Thanks to the SPS (Spark Plasma Sintering) sintering system, the company created by Romain Epherre, Yannick Beynet and Claude Estournès is able to produce semi-finished parts in less than thirty minutes. Norimat can manufacture prostheses (hips, knees, etc.) made of biocompatible ceramics or shape ceramics for ballistic applications (bulletproof vests, for example). It ensures all the steps, from modeling to the production of these parts which can take very complex shapes.
