EASYMILE
Already a pioneer with its driverless metro in 1993, Toulouse is once again innovating with its autonomous EasyMile shuttle. Unveiled for the first time at the Paris Motor Show in 2014, the machine continues its short journey with this success. Entirely designed in the pink city, this electric vehicle, flanked by a battery of sensors (odometry, GPS, laser location...) has already been tested in about twenty countries around the world. It can carry up to twelve people and can go up to 45 km/h. Intended for the transport of passengers over very short distances, it generally travels at an average speed of 15 to 20 km/h. EasyMile is already at work in Singapore in a 100-hectare park and in Texas to provide parking-stay connections on match days in Arlington.
