The L'Impériale restaurant, located on the second floor of the Marché Victor Hugo for an authentic lunch, has been a true Toulouse institution for 40 years. It's a family-run establishment run by three wonderful women: Ginette, the founder, Martine, her daughter, and Emma, her granddaughter. The dishes are entirely homemade (even the fries) using fresh market produce. The South-Western dishes are delicious, in the purest tradition, and offer excellent value for money. Quite simply, a must!
