African and West Indian restaurant offering fish and meat on the menu near the Jean-Jaurès alleys
If you want something exotic, go to Mami-Wata, an African and Caribbean restaurant located in a small street not far from the Jean-Jaurès alleys. In a straw hut decoration and African statues and a sometimes over-excited atmosphere, you discover spicy flavours but not too much because you are the one who season. On the menu, cod acras, avocados garnished, prawns flambéed with rum and exotic salads followed by braised chicken, pork colombo, yassa chicken or beef mafé... Don't ignore the dessert: chocolate cake revisited with ginger, flambéed banana, fresh pineapple or homemade mango yoghurt to finish light! A unique combination of African and Caribbean recipes.

Le mafé était bon, mais manquait de goût, en effet l'arachide n'était pas assez présent, c'est censé être riche en sauce !
Sinon ambiance sympathique
