Address in the Carmes district offering authentic tapas.
Chez Rosa sounds like an invitation to a friend's house. It almost is, as Rosa welcomes you with a smile and a charming Catalan accent. The address is a sure bet, and the place, stylishly but authentically decorated by Cécilia Febrer, is always full. Those who don't like to be squeezed in are advised to move on, as here you'll find a little slice of Barcelona offered to you by a woman who claims that everything you can find there, you can find here too. Including the decibels and the bell that tinkles with every tip!

Had the best time at Chez Rosa - massive recommendation! The staff really made the visit special and looked after two English people with terrible French, haha. Wine was delicious, food was even better but it's the atmosphere and tightly packed venue which really made it. Be careful of the shots you get given on your way out though...!!
