On the very touristic place des Carmes, the Café Italiana welcomes you in a bistro atmosphere with wooden counter and a clever mixture of stones and bricks. Here, the crowd is often intense, so take your time for your trip to Italy. On the table, various breads (bread to olives, gressins…). À la carte: ravioli to truffles, spaghetti to clams, risotto or carpaccio of beef, salads, vegetable soup (peas, green beans, onions, courgettes), antipasti tartines (eggplant with olive oil net, anchovy and mascarpone)). In the summer, the antipasti map is clogged and can offer you, for example, shrimp grown at limoncello or a salad of octopus. Price / quality really unbalanced. Salad = heap of salad and 4 small cherry tomatoes. Also, don't expect a friendly word or smile. Don't go to restaurants with a score below 4, as we did. Lessons learnt.
