Shalizar is the only Iranian restaurant in Toulouse! It's located in the heart of Saint-Michel, and boasts a small, soberly decorated dining room. The main reason to come is to discover new flavors, concocted by Sosan in the kitchen, always using fresh produce! The menu changes with the seasons, avoiding monotony. Here, for example, you can try a "Mirza ghasemi" or smoked eggplant caviar, an "olvieh salad" of shredded chicken and vegetables, a "Coucou sibzamini" or saffron-flavored soufflé as a starter, then a skewer of chicken fillet marinated in saffron and lemon, with an orange and spice sauce, a leg of lamb with prune sauce, a "Sabzi polo ba mahi", i.e. a salmon steak with a curry and coriander sauce.... before finishing on a high note with a rose ice cream, a saffron-flavored crème brûlée, or a fragrant orange salad! An excellent address that we recommend to all gourmets!
