Address with terrace preparing creative home cooking with seasonal products, gluten intolerant
Here is an address that Toulouse residents appreciate as much for its gourmet pastries as at lunchtime; and Le Petit Futé understands why! A few steps from the Capitol, you are welcomed in a pleasant way in a welcoming and peaceful room, nicely arranged and completed by a terrace. On the menu, a homemade cuisine full of particularly creative vitality, inspired by seasonal products: quinoa crumble, pumpkin and fourme d'Ambert, sea cheesecake, buddha bowl parsnip, coral lentils and shrimps... But save room for dessert! Because like the dishes, you can enjoy a meal even if you are vegetarian or gluten intolerant.

This "salon de the" in my opinion has the best cakes with lactose free. For those of you with lactose or gluten intolerance or allergies, THIS is the place. The cakes are delicious, and so is the tea, which they have a good variety.
However, you will need to be armed with time and patience. The staff is really very nice, it's probably due to being understaffed or some work organisation. There was a long queue on a Saturday afternoon when we were there. The tea room was full, but there was only one person serving, taking orders, and cleaning the tables. The queue got longer, and eyes began to rolled. Customers were coming out, but the tables could not be cleared, so from the outside, we saw empty tables and uncleared tables while we were standing in the cold. The waiter was very apologetic and pleasant. However, he said he had been working non-stop since noon.
We were there one Sunday for brunch. We arrived just past 12 noon. We were the first table (of 4) to be seated. The service was still slow. It would have been a 5* if the service was quicker. I would still recommend this place for an afternoon tea!
