Establishment offering classic flavours, meats and seafood
Change of ownership for this institution! But fans can rest assured: this establishment, which opened in 1925, retains all its charm! Régis Lorenzato and André Layani, two restaurateurs well known to Toulouse residents, are working to maintain the brewery spirit that has made the place so successful. Leather benches, Art Nouveau furniture and waiters in traditional clothes await you to enjoy the classics: foie gras from the Samaran house, mimosa eggs, steak tartare, entrecote, daily fishing and above all, seafood! Here the oysters come from Brittany or Vendée, and are selected with high standards, for an incomparable tasting. A sure thing.

Beautiful vintage restaurant with paintings of the Pyrenees and stained glass decoration. Came here on a Sunday evening with an oyster craving, chanced it with no reservation. The friendly staff got us a table and we were surprised by their friendliness all around. By the looks of this place we were expecting more snobbishness! Staff were attentive and smiling. Tables are interesting - you sit side by side with your partner, essentially looking at the couple opposite you. It felt like we were transported back in time or in a classic French movie… On a Sunday evening, there was a mix of regulars who were greeted by name and tourists. All were treated warmly and with a high degree of professionalism. This is a real gem amidst all the fast food in the area!
