Restaurant with terrace offering a cuisine with local and seasonal products, grills.

Have you ever had lunch or dinner on a bus? Not very comfortable, do you think? Go to Bus 111 to change your mind! Part of this atypical restaurant is fitted out in a retro bus open onto a large, bright and friendly room. Next door, a superb shaded terrace is resolutely playful with a garland of lights and a fluttering atmosphere. The 111 bus offers an authentic and generous kitchen, with wood-fired grills. The plates are as copious as they are gourmet. Local and seasonal products are put forward, sometimes with a Hispanic or Basque touch to enhance the whole. A gustatory journey to be enjoyed with family or friends!

Commençons par le positif : le Bus111 vous accueille dans un décor particulier puisqu'il y a bien un ancien bus de ville dans le restaurant et qu'on peut y prendre le repas. Autre point très positif: le service. Il est souriant et rapide, même quand il y a du monde le midi. La contrepartie est un choix limité avec un menu plutôt simple mais assez varié. Sur les plats justement, l'impression est plus mitigée. La soupe à l'oignon et le mini burger étaient excellents mais les autres entrées étaient banales. En plat principal, aucune option pour les végétariens à moins de modifier l'un des plats proposés. Le pavé de saumon à la purée de patates douces était très moyen et pas assez cuit. Les autres plats ont cependant remonté le niveau. Pour les desserts on est sur du simple et classique. J'ai particulièrement apprécié le fait que le riz au lait soit fait avec du riz complet et non du riz blanc. C'est plutôt rare comme choix. Finalement, le Bus111 laisse une impression positive mais il y a encore de la marge pour progresser ????
