Terrace restaurant offering tapas, traditional cuisine and classic brasserie dishes.
Installed on the Place du Capitole for more than a century, the Florida is an integral part of the Toulouse landscape. Enjoying breakfast at first light, having a refreshing drink on the terrace on a hot day, having a quick salad at the brasserie, sipping a cocktail with some tapas, dining traditional cuisine at the restaurant or lingering on at the club upstairs: everything is possible in this house that (almost) never sleeps. The setting has retained its Belle Époque decoration with an old-fashioned charm. In the kitchen, the chef offers the classics of the brasserie: seafood, onion soup, cassoulet, confit... and homemade desserts! The various areas can be privatized for your group, professional or festive meals. An establishment to which it is good to return as soon as the occasion arises!

J’ai commandé une dame blanche qui est arrivée avec des noix de pécan et des spéculos dans et au dessus de la coupe. Rien de tout ça n’était précisé .
Service cependant agréable.

I thought the French onion soup was good, my wife thought it was ok. However we both did agree that the Caesar salad wasn’t very good nor ever will be. They have no idea. Judging by the other plates I saw, it seems that they were adequate but not much love and care in the kitchen. Good place to enjoy the atmosphere but not expect much from the food although you might have a good meal. I wouldn’t ask for the Ceasar salad.
Très bon service.
