BARNABÉ AIME LE CAFÉ
Anne Giniaux has inherited the fertile imagination and manual talents of the women in her family, who practiced knitting, tapestry, and creative hobbies with natural agility. This former advertising executive also drew on her father's DIY workshop for some precious tricks and memories to build a brand of accessories for women and children in her own image. Barnabé aime le café, created in Toulouse in 2008, unveils two new collections each year: an assortment of leather, liberty, sequins and touches of gold, both very "girly" and elegant, poetic and sparkling. The label offers to its 250 retailers and on its website blankets, bibs, bath capes, toiletry kits, hairbrushes or diapers for babies; wallets, purses, or handbags for their mothers. Barnabé loves coffee, they are also music boxes, in the form of guitars, cushions or Russian dolls, which sing the Beatles, Gainsbourg or Piaf! Singular melodies for this type of articles that have led the brand to success. In recent seasons, the brand has entered the world of the home with a collection of silk-screened kitchen towels made in Brittany that has been a great success!
For each of her collections, Anne Giniaux selects the most beautiful or natural materials, which she entrusts to French workshops with proven know-how. The leather goods, for example, are made in the Tarn region, the historic cradle of French leather goods, in a workshop that has been awarded the "Entreprise du patrimoine Vivant" label of excellence. This requirement for proximity reflects the brand's core values: to offer quality products and to contribute, on its own scale, to promoting French craftsmanship.
