The founding of this bookshop dates back to the Liberation! The idea at the time, driven by intellectuals and Resistance fighters, was to bring back into circulation books that had been banned or burnt during the Occupation. So much for setting the scene! Since then, the mission to disseminate cultural heritage has never wavered. Here, you'll find reading material to help you resist the evils of today, such as racism, individualism, and consumerism... It's also, of course, a place for cultural encounters, backed up by a comprehensive website.
