Just before celebrating its 110th anniversary, Utopia, the emblematic cinema in the heart of Toulouse, has rediscovered its very first name: the American Cosmograph! Overlooking its doors, a fresco reminds us that in 1907, the date of its creation, posters were painted directly on the facades! The aim of this much-loved cinema is to provide the best possible representation of cinematic diversity. All films are shown in their original version. A cultural venue and meeting place, the American Cosmograph organizes a variety of events: film concerts, discussion evenings, previews, themed programs, retrospectives... There are no commercials or sweets. Films start on time and, to ensure your comfort, latecomers are invited to return at a later screening. A cinema for the curious and the passionate.
