LA CINEMATHEQUE DE TOULOUSE

The second largest cinematheque in France, this institution was created in 1958 by a handful of collectors. It is now of international standing, offering screenings for all ages, exhibitions, festivals, meetings with guests, film-concerts... It benefits from a very varied collection, ranging from Soviet cinema to American burlesque, which covers the entire history of cinema from its origins. In the summer, at sunset, open-air projections on giant screens bring the masterpieces of the seventh art to life.
