Père Louis is much more than a café, it's a Toulouse institution! The zinc has seen many Toulousans and connoisseurs of quinquina and Picon bière come and go since 1889! But the time for renewal has come, and as we enter the year of our Lord 2023, we welcome you to a renovated venue with a preserved spirit. The downstairs room retains its illustrious, protected charm, while the upstairs room has been beautifully modernized by the 4 owners, who are already active on the Toulouse scene. Take a lunch break with the unmissable porcini omelette, or enjoy an aperitif at lunch or dinner, and choose whether you prefer a sweet or dry cooked wine, or a quinquina. Long live Père Louis!

We had a lovely evening meal here. Nice traditional food well made and with excellent service. The place is a fantastic piece of history - if you book a table you will sit in the area upstairs which is renovated but this still has charm. Have an apero in the bar before to enjoy the history

cuisine excellente, accueil et ambiance conviviales. Seul bémol les frites trop sèches à mon goût. Très bon conseil concernant les vins.

Le numéro un des bar à vin toulousain, à réserver au ami uniquement. Malheureusement le propriétaire emblématique a pris une retraite bien méritée. Le charme des anciens bistrots toulousain a disparu avec eux (un grand merci a Patrick et à son fidèle serveur pour tous ces bon moment ????)
