Thirty years of Spanish cinema in the Ville Rose is soon to be celebrated. A competition that rolls up its sleeves and claps its hands. Brava!
In 1992, a handful of cinephiles with a passion for history created the "Les écrans de l'histoire" festival. They then turned their attention to Spanish cinema... a rather unknown genre at the time. Cinespana was born! Today, the festival offers a wide range of recent films, screened throughout the city in October, to the delight of Toulouse, which has its roots on the other side of the Pyrenees! The competition is strong, but it's also an opportunity to discover documentaries, relive history and put yourself on Spanish time for a while.
