TOULOUSE PLAGES

If it is a summer meeting awaited by the Toulouse people, it is Toulouse Beaches! From mid-July onwards, the Filters Prairie is a giant leisure area. In addition to the buvet, the sun loungers, the umbrellas and the miseries that make it possible to enjoy the view of the Garonne at the cost, Toulouse Beaches offers you many sporting facilities. A beach space allows volleyball, rugby, handball, tennis and soccer to be practiced in the sand. On the grass, you can practice a part of badminton, ping pong or golf. Various collective courses are provided: Swedish gym, kung fu, crossdo, qi gong, yoga, African dance or salon dance… Of course, the beach says water sports, so it is also possible to join the dedicated space to start with rowing and canoeing! Some activities are specifically studied to accommodate senior citizens. For younger people, large playgrounds are equipped with trampolines, inflatable structures, slides… To complete the facilities, you will find an outdoor library and family workshops. Toulouse Beaches is also two other places: the Viguerie port on which the great wheel is installed, as well as the EDF Bazacle space, for a moment of farcing and reading by the water.
