CARNAVAL DE TOULOUSE

COCU? The United Carnival Organization Committee! This colorful association organizes the Toulouse Carnival. The arrival of spring is celebrated as it should be. It all starts with a soapbox ride down the Avenue de la Colonne. With music, refreshments and workshops, the atmosphere is guaranteed. Then there's a treasure hunt, followed by a block party at Place de l'Extrapade, with small gifts from local shopkeepers. Finally, the parade begins with the Mayor handing over the keys to the town, and ends with music and, of course, the cremation of Mr. Carnaval.
