The Sol-Violette is Toulouse's alternative citizen currency. Named after Toulouse's emblematic little flower, it was created in 2011. The network relies on some fifteen exchange counters, hosted by committed businesses (Vélo Sentimental, Biocoop, etc.), the Crédit Municipal and nearly 150 retailers - from all sectors including well-being, food, pets, restaurants, culture and leisure... who accept payment in Sol.
