INSTITUTO CERVANTES
Founded in 1991 on the initiative of the Spanish Ministry of Culture and Foreign Affairs, the Cervantes Institute aims to promote the Spanish language and Hispanic culture in France. The proximity of Toulouse to the Spanish border is certainly not foreign to the presence of this establishment in the pink city. Language courses are offered in annual or intensive sessions, from the beginner to the advanced, as well as preparation for certain diplomas such as the DELE. During school holidays, initiations for children between the ages of 6 and 11 are also offered. The Institute also proposes a particularly rich library accessible to all, in consultation or in loan. Conferences, film screenings in VO, exhibitions and concerts are regularly organised to immerse themselves with Spanish culture.
