HABITAT ET HUMANISME

Founded in Toulouse in 1995, Habitat and Humanism now has 27 homes and homes managed by private or public owners. She also hosts Housing Research Workshops to support people in their research. To date, Habitat and Humanism lodge 67 families thanks to the action and commitment of 45 volunteers, who are assisted by 3 employees, including 2 social economy and solidarity advisors. This association has 4 commissions which are the accompaniment (of persons and families housed: research, choice and reception, social follow-up) rental management (of various leases, location of sites with tenants, general assemblies…), habitat (housing search, analysis of real estate opportunities, acquisitions, contacts with local communities and administrations, selection and follow-up of architects, study, implementation and follow-up of work: costs, deadlines…) and communication in particular to search for donors!
