AGENCE DES CHEMINS DE COMPOSTELLE

The aim of this para-agency is to define and implement permanent interregional and transnational cooperation for the study, recognition, revitalization and facilitation of old pilgrimage routes as a European cultural route and UNESCO World Heritage. Among its missions, it provides up-to-date documentation to the general public, institutions, professionals and teachers, as well as information on all the hiking routes called «Santiago de Compostela» in Europe. Since 2015, it is in agreement with the state for the constitution and animation of the Network of Owners, Managers and Actors of the Cultural Property "Chemin de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle in France" inscribed on the list of UNESCO World Heritage.
