BIBLIOTHÈQUE NOMADE

With 40,000 titles, the nomadic library is designed to meet the Toulouse people that the hazards of life keep away from reading, for material, geographical or cultural reasons: persons in disability, neighborhoods without a library, illiterate people, elderly readers… It has three axes.

Porting home books: After a telephone conversation defining your tastes, you receive a librarian's visit every six weeks for a twelve-week loan (novels, biographies, essays, gardening or kitchen manuals, magazines, Dvds…)

The bibliics: two mobile libraries each with 4,000 documents (novels, practical works, albums, Dvds, magazines, CD for children…) serve 24 parking points to bring the book to readers.

Service to Communities: it is intended for professionals working in an association, a nursery, a retirement home or a social center and who want to organize a reading point in their structure. They may borrow at least fifty documents for a period of three to six months.
