BIBLIOTHÈQUE D’ÉTUDE ET DU PATRIMOINE
The Study and Heritage Library was built in the 1930 s from the plans of the Toulouse architect Jean Montariol. It provides access to university-level general collections, journals, books, regional collections and heritage collections, including manuscripts, incunables, artist books, ancient scores, prints… In the large reading room, there are free access to 15,000 books on all subjects, 200 specialized journals and 40 multimedia stations to consult the catalog, CD-Roms and the online press. Two rooms allow for the consultation of the collections of the written heritage and the consultation of the regional documentation. This library regularly organizes high quality exhibitions and, recently, concerts in connection with the rich musical collections of the library, a Friday a month.
