ARCHIVES MUNICIPALES DE TOULOUSE
Since 1996, municipal archives have been installed in the former Réservoir water reservoir in the Bonnefoy area. Their mission is to collect and classify the sources of the history of Toulouse and its inhabitants, to restore and preserve them in order, on the one hand, to make them available to the interested public in reading room, and on the other hand to design books and exhibitions. Located in a spectacular building, the municipal archives retain some treasures from the pink city: medieval illuminations, Toulouse type, aquarelles of monuments, as well as old plans from 1493, allowing to better understand the evolution of the city… Don't miss to visit the website to discover the digitized data available.
